Telecaster 5-Way 3 pickup custom 7 Sound Wiring harness

This wiring harness is for a 3 pickup 5-way Nashville style Telecaster but is not stock Nashville. This harness uses a CTS Push-Pull pot for the tone control. and gives you 7 pickup combinations. The kit comes pre-assembled and professionally built by Atlantic Custom Guitars using all top-quality American made components.1 CTS audio-taper, split shaft Pot with brass shaft and bushing. (I use 250k as standard, if you need 500k message me after purchase, I do have them in stock) 1 CTS full size Push Pull Pot. (I use 250k as standard, if you need 500k message me after purchase, I do have them in stock) 1 – .022mfd Sprague Orange Drop capacitor 1 – Treble bleed Kit (Stewmac) 1 Switchcraft input jack 1 Original CRL 5-way USA Switch (Considered by most guitarists and guitar builders as the 1st choice for a Strats and Custom Teles) Cloth-covered, Gavitt vintage-style wire These USA made pots have 24 spline shafts, so you will need 24 spline knobs. (Metric and imported pots use 18 spline knobs). I also include 2 brass pot sleeves which convert the 24 spline Split Shaft Pots to Solid Shaft Pots so you can use metal knobs with set screw. This harness does NOT include the control plate. Position #1 ………………… Bridge pickup (Rear Position) Position #1+PP ……………Bridge and Neck (Classic Tele) Position #2 ………………… Bridge and Middle Position #2+PP ………….. Bridge, Middle and Neck Position #3 ………………… Middle pickup Position #4 ………………… Middle and Neck Position #5 ………………… Neck pickup (front position) The Tone Control is a CTS Push-Pull Pot, when you pull it up, it engages the Neck pickup regardless of what position the 5-way switch is in. This gives you the 2 extra positions. When the 5 way switch is in position #1 you get the normal bridge pickup, but when you pull the push-pull up, you will get bridge and neck. Position #2 normally gives you bridge and middle but when you pull up the push-pull, you will get all 3 pickups together. Telecaster 3 Way Wiring Harness CTS Pots, Oak Switch, Mallory .047uf Capacitor

(They have a better taper that drops off gradually and not rapidly. They also use a long-life wiper). We measure all our pots before building your harness and guarantee that the pots are either 250k or higher (Once the harness is built, the Pots do drop a couple of K-Ohms) that’s normal. If we find a pot under 250k, we discard it. Regular CTS Pots have a +/- 20% which means you could have a pot as low as 200k and anything below 250k starts to sound thin. The lower it is, the thinner it is. In my Teles, I use Mallory Mustard Tone Caps, I prefer them, and in my opinion, they are far superior to Orange Drops. The Mallory are smoother and cleaner sounding. When you wind them down, they don’t go dark and muddy like the Orange Drops. This harness does NOT include the control plate. It is for display purposes only. Position 1 – Bridge Position 2 – Bridge & Neck Position 3 – Neck Bench tested and guaranteed 100% working This harness does not come with knobs or switch tip. If you need the Chrome or Nickel Barrel Knobs for the Pots or the black switch tip, you will find them in my EBay Store Please Note: If you are putting this harness in an imported Tele, you will probably need a USA spec Control Plate and USA spec Knobs.USA Control Plates have a 3/8” hole for the pots whilst Metric Control Plates use 8mm (approx. 5/16”) holes. Also, the slot for the switch lever on a metric control plate is not long enough to accommodate a USA CRL or Oak Grigsby switch.USA (CTS) pots have a 1/4” (6.3mm) solid shaft post whilst metric pots use 6mm post, so metric knobs won’t fit on CTS pots.Here is the link to my Loaded Control Plate which includes everything you need for an Imported Tele
