It comes with one slightly longer screw that accounts for the thickness of the rest, so it doesn’t even change the screw hole of your bass.The design follows the contour of the bevel edge of your pick guard and uses it for support.It DOES NOT touch your finish! Lifetime guarantee against breakage.(see below) Will it fit my Precision Bass??? This should fit most Fender Precision Basses, copy P-Basses, high end P-Basses, and the G&L LB100 and Fender VI. However, there are MANY variations of the classic Fender “P-Bass” out there made by MANY companies,and this may or may not fit yours. Please SEE THE PIC with the guard outline to make sure your pickguard screw pattern will allow the Zero-Mod to fit.Your bass MUST have the classic P-bass guard curve, and the guard MUST have the hole in the same location as the guard in the picture. It WILL NOT FIT ANY OTHER PATTERN!
