This harness uses high end components like CTS brass bushing potentiometers. Many other brands use alpha or other components and they say they use them because they don’t ‘fail’. Well it’s not that simple. We use CTS brass pots not only because they don’t fail BUT because they feel way better than alpha and other lower-end pots. (Alpha makes a quality products but we want the knobs to turn and feel great – so we use CTS Brass Pots. They have the correct weight and feel and last forever!) This LP wiring harness is available with and without ground plates – available in Aluminum, Brass, Copper or Wire-only (no plate.) Plates are not required with our products, however; they can improve the ground conductivity and provide shielding to reduce interfereance and improve overall sound quality.
