Delrin insert. However it is IMPORTANT TO NOTE that default knob sizes are 1/4" (CTS) or 6mm (Alpha pots). These knobs MUST BE MODIFIED BEFORE THEY WILL FIT whatever you're using it for. (Since it's plastic that's fairly easy, you just ream it out to desired width and the spline will then slide in.).
